hi folks,

first of all: i like the idea to have a "free-bf-game"

however, i am thinking about playing bfh at my next private LAN-party.
will it be possible to run a local-server to have fun with it on a LAN ?

i really, but really really, do not know. but you can go with you're lanparty in just a internet-game. much more fun cuz much more players.

There will probably be some modder(freak?) that comes up, with a program that can make Your computer run a LAN server. (If not EA makes that possible)

this is weird my post was deleted but what i said was that most likely it will not be lan enabled as most of the character customization is run form the website

I remember one of the devs talking about how BFH is a free to play game, and therefore it'd be great for LAN parties because anyone who doesn't have the game can just sign up and download it.

Good question...um, Idk. It's up to EA. Though they do keep stating, free online-bf-game.
