Gamespot has a video interview up with Ben Cousins that has some great info on setting up your Battlefield Hero. The video shows some highlights on getting your character set up such as weapon selection, abilities, halarious emotes and achievable missions. From what we can tell, your Battlefield Hero is allowed 3 different weapons and a number of abilities. Looking closely at the video, here is a list of the abilities: Blasting Strike, Wrench, Combat Medicine, Grenade Spam, 6th Sense, Bandage and Burning Bullets. There is also an option to set up to 9 different emotes or animations. Whats cool is that you can click the emote and your character will demo it for you...check out the guy doing the robot! This could possibly be used in game as some sort of taunts? Finally, there are some missions or accomplishments that you can "prove your worth" while playing the game. It looks like you have to set these up first before you can achieve them. The selection in the video reads as follows: Kill five enemies in a row without dying in between. This must be done in a single round. Repeatable Yes. The rest is difficult to make out. May 10 2008 05:33:01 They're using the Battlefield 2142 engine to make this game, lol. I hope they mantain the system requirements as they said in the F.A.Q., or else my computer wouldn't be able to run the game.
Hey, the emotes that skeleton face character did was funny haha. I guess that, when we make a frag, we'll dance like a robot insted of Tea Baging it, lol.
Nice interview. Ben Cousins is looks to be a cool guy. When the Beta comes, let's do our best work to help him and his crew!
